Training

Level I Basic Maintenance Training is offered in San Diego, CA on the following dates:
  • March 15-19, 2010
  • October 11-15, 2010

Level I Training is a basic maintenance class that covers one model per day. You may choose which days to attend based on the agenda below or stay and attend all sessions.

The cost for Level I Training is $125.00 per person, per day and includes lunches and training materials. A purchase order or credit card number (Visa or MC) are required at least one week prior to the start of classes to guarantee your space.

Reservations will be canceled if no purchase order is received one week prior the training class.

Classes fill up fast so we encourage early enrollment and payment guarantee. There will be no more scheduled "A" model Level I training.

Level II Advanced Maintenance Training is offered in San Diego, CA on the following dates:

  • January 11-15, 2010
  • April 12-16, 2010
  • June 14-18, 2010
  • September 13-17, 2010
  • November 15-19, 2010

The Level II course places more emphasis on troubleshooting, maintenance, fault diagnostics and instrument repair. The Advanced Maintenance training consists of a full week course that cost $625.00 per person, per week including lunches and training materials.

As with the Level I course, a purchase order or credit card number (Visa or MC) are required at least one week prior to the start of class to guarantee space. The Teledyne-API Level I Basic Maintenance Class is a prerequisite for the Level II class.

Classes for both courses are limited to ten students to provide a more hands on experience. Early registration is necessary as classes fill fast.

All classes begin at 9:00 am and are being held at the TAPI facility on 9480 Carroll Park Drive. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to our facility. The hotel will be the Empress Hotel; you may contact them directly for reservations at 888-369-9900. Make sure you mention you are with the Teledyne Training Group to receive a discounted rate.

Cancellation Policy:
  • If you are registered for a class but can no longer attend, you can nominate another participant to take your place.  All requests should be via email to api-customerservice@teledyne.com at least one week before the class begins.  We require that the new attendee’s full name (first, middle and last), business address, email address and telephone number be provided. 
  • If you cannot be present the first day of class but will arrive later, you must notify the Teledyne API Customer Service Department or you will be considered a “NO-SHOW”.
  • Cancellations received at least 15 days before the start of training are refundable for Teledyne-API Training credits minus a service fee of $50.  These training credits are valid for 1 year after issue and can be used for future trainings.   Cancellations received within 15 day of the start of training are not refundable.
  • NO-SHOWS are non-refundable.

  • Teledyne API reserves the right to cancel any training class at any time up to 15 days in advance, due to an insufficient number of participants, or for any other reason.  Please keep this cancellation policy in mind if you are considering purchasing non-refundable airline tickets.  Teledyne API will not be responsible for travel, lodging or any other expenses you may incur for such situations. On the rare occasion that we must cancel a training session:
    • We will post an update to the Teledyne API website as soon as possible to reflect the training class cancellation.
    • Those already registered will be sent an e-mail notification of the cancellation and a full credit or refund will be given for any fees already paid 
    • Those affected will be given priority access to open spots at future training classes.
